Take Notes on NCAA Championships, Don’t Chase Money By The Gaming Today’s Sid Diamond

With a real busy week of basketball league championships behind us we should be in good shape for this coming week.

Actually, you can never get in shape for the first two days of the Big Dance. The games come and go so rapidly one must do his homework before the first game begins. Write your choices down after looking at the lines and stat sheets and you’ll have a game plan that probably will succeed.

Planning your day is essential when so many games are available to wager on. Don’t get caught up watching your initial wager and miss out on the next bet. Number your picks by the amount you want to spend on each game.

All bets shouldn’t be for the same amount, and never chase your money when behind. You can, however, raise your bet if you’re winning, but always remember there will be another game tomorrow.

Over and under suggestions will be on gamingtoday.com as early as Tuesday and will probably include most of the Thursday and Friday games. Take a look at them as they’ve been OK up to this point.

As a special request, I’ll number each selection as 1, 2 or 3 with 3 being the best of the picks. Remember, blowouts rarely win the overs as there is no intentional fouling at the end of the game.

Most of the numbers put out by the services are close and therefore some number shopping is essential. If you like a side and it moves by over two points beware as significant injuries may be in play.

Don’t get sucked into being stubborn and follow the trend by laying or taking a bad number. Bear in mind that baseball is just around the corner and we’ll all need a bankroll to get rolling.

Have a great week.
