Blues extend Hensick’s contract by The Sports Network

The St. Louis Blues signed forward T.J. Hensick to a two-year contract extension on Monday.

The 25-year-old Hensick had one goal and two assists in 13 games for the Blues last season. In addition, he played in 59 games last season for Peoria of the AHL, scoring 21 goals and adding 48 assists.

Hensick was acquired from the Blues in a trade with Colorado last June.

Originally a third-round selection by Colorado in the 2005 draft, Hensick has 12 goals and 26 assists over 112 career games.
