Rocketman Sports TOP 25 CBB Rankings Monday 12-13-10 by Rocky Atkinson

I use 6 different sets of power ratings to come up with my premium plays for College Basketball. I have one main overall power rating that I use and that’s the one we’ll take a look at today in finding the Top 25 teams in the nation through Monday 12-13-10 and we’ll do a little comparing to one of the Major Polls for College Basketball. I have hit 61% the past 3 years combined in College Basketball which is ranked #1 in the nation at The Sports Monitor of Oklahoma City, OK out of all the documented handicappers. Let’s take a look at the Rocketman Top 25 teams in College Basketball and their power rating up to this point. 1. Duke 99.9 2. Kansas 96.77 3. Ohio State 93.19 4. Washington 92.69 5. Louisville 92.11 6. Tennessee 91.97 7. Wisconsin 91.96 8. San Diego State 91.83 9. Connecticut 91.4 10. Georgetown 91.28 11. UNLV 90.86 12. Temple 90.83 13. BYU 90.7 14. Kentucky 90.59 15. Pittsburgh 90.19 16. Kansas State 89.63 17. Illinois 89.16 18. Purdue 88.91 19. Syracuse 88.49 20. Cincinnati 88.42 21. Oklahoma St. 88.3 22. Washington St. 88.18 23. West Virginia 87.87 24. Vanderbilt 87.67 25. Michigan State 87.65 Looks like we are right on target with our #1 ranking as Duke received all 65 votes in the AP poll. Duke’s lines will most likely be inflated as this will be a public team this year. Baylor, Villanova, Memphis, Missouri, Minnesota, Notre Dame and Texas are ranked 10th, 12th, 13th, 15th,22nd, 23rd and 25th respectively in the AP Poll but you won’t find them in my Top 25. Most likely the teams just mentioned could very well be play-on teams this coming week for Rocketman Sports clients. Other things must add up and of course the main thing is what Vegas sets the lines at. Looks like Wisconsin is my surprise team as I have them ranked all the way up in 6th but they didn’t make the AP Poll. Don’t be surprised though if this is a play against team this coming week for us. That’s the way the Rocketman Power ratings work. Kind of opposite of what you would normally think. Hey, it works and I’m sticking with it! Don’t miss out on another exciting week of basketball. #1 last year in CBB (60%) and #1 last year in NBA (61%.) I am documented #2 currently in the NHL. Bowl season is upon us as well so don’t miss any bowl games we may release! Best of luck whatever plays you make this week!
