Portland, OR (Sports Network) – The Portland Trail Blazers agreed to terms with center Earl Barron on a contract for the rest of the season, the club announced on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old combined to play in 19 games, making six starts, for Phoenix and Milwaukee this season, posting per-game averages of 3.8 points and 3.3 rebounds in just over 14 minutes of action.
For his career, the University of Memphis product is averaging 5.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in 108 games — 27 starts — spanning parts of five seasons with Miami, New York, the Suns and Bucks.
