Oakland, CA (Sports Network) – Golden State guard Monta Ellis will miss the final two games of the regular season after he was diagnosed with a concussion.
The club revealed on Monday afternoon that the 25-year-old suffered a Grade 2 concussion after falling to the floor and hitting his head during the final minute of Sunday’s 104-103 home loss to Sacramento.
Ellis spent the night in a Bay Area hospital for observation, and a CT scan was negative. He was released earlier Monday.
Golden State concludes its slate in Denver on Monday and hosts Portland on Wednesday.
