Tampa, FL (Sports Network) – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have rewarded general manager Mark Dominik with a four-year contract extension.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Dominik has been the club’s GM for the past two years and oversaw the biggest turnaround in club history. The 2010 team finished 10-6 and just missed out on a playoff berth, only a year after a dismal 3-13 campaign.
“It’s been a pleasure working with and getting to know Mark, so it’s gratifying to witness his success,” said Bucs co-chairman Joel Glazer in a statement. “Mark is dedicated to delivering the winner our fans deserve.”
Dominik has been a member of the Buccaneers’ organization since 1995, first as a pro personnel assistant. He also served as a pro scout, coordinator of pro personnel and director of pro personnel.
