MLB Odds to Win the World Series by Joe D’Amico

Can you feel it? The weather is changing as we go from coats to shirts, to shorts. That can only mean one thing. Baseball is back. America’s past-time is upon us. Hot dogs, cold beer, and day games. There is nothing like it. When I first started in this business, if you put 100 sports bettors in a room all 100 would play football, about 75 would be on hoops, but just about 20-25 would play baseball. Well, over  the years, more and more people are playing MLB. Not only betting on it, but making exotic wagers like Run Lines, Betting the first 5 1/2 innings, and futures. I will tell you this, I make more people more profits in baseball than both football and basketball combined. For starters, baseball has 12-15 games a day 6 days a week with one day featuring 5-6 contests. The brunt of football is Saturday and Sunday, so sometimes we force plays just to have action. Hoops is also every day, however due to late opening lines, significant line movements, suspensions and injuries, and low limits, you really must dedicate yourself and be on your toes. But baseball, baseball is all about the value in the price. I don’t care if Sandy Koufax was pitching for the 1927 Yankees, I would never go above -140. Plus, it’s every day and if you aren’t crazy about anything today, odds are you will feel strongly about something tomorrow. In 7 documented years, I have averaged over +51 net winners per season. And I pass often. My advice to you is to be very choosy, know your trends and streaks, and definitely be on top of game-time weather. I can’t stress enough that you should stay away from big prices. If you happen to drop a -2.50 favorite, you need to win the next three just to get even There’s 162 games, be patient. Below are 4 of the most popular and respected current Sports Book odds to win the World Series:
