NBA TOTALS RECORD WITH NO REST by Rob Vinciletti

We are now at the middle of the season in the NBA. Below we will see the Each teams record when playing with no rest. The teams are arranged alphabetically by team name and our query also shows their totals results. After each team we then look at the Conferences and finally how each division breaks down.

When looking at how each team has done when playing with no rest, we find that most of the teams do not have the terrible records that one would associate when playing back to back nights. While using no rest in your capping theories, we must remember that it is just one too and that we must dig further than just playing on or against a team strictly based on their record in this situation. A prime example of this would be looking at the Phoenix Suns. They have a mediocre record losing 8 of 10 times with no rest. However, one of those wins was on the road in the last game of a road trip, while playing a 4th game in 5 nights. The bottom line with Teams playing with no rest is to use it to your advantage by finding other parameters to go in conjunction with the particular team or game you are looking at. While most of the records will be under .500, we do see some angles to consider. Philadelphia is just 2-10 straight up and to the spread with no rest and the Toronto Raptors are 9-2 ats. Looking at totals we see that Denver and Golden State tend to post over the total this season with no rest.
