New York, NY (Sports Network) – Former New York Giants running back Tiki Barber is coming out of retirement, according to a report from FoxSports.com.
Barber’s agent told the outlet that they filed the appropriate papers with the commissioner’s office and the Giants. The story said the Giants need to activate him, then decide if they want to keep him.
Barber, who will turn 36 years old on April 7, has been out of the league since the end of the 2006 season. He is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and is the Giants’ career rushing yardage leader, with 10,449 yards. His 15,632 yards from scrimmage rank 12th all-time.
