An interview about NFL lockout with Larry Fitzgerald and Adrian Peterson by the Gaming Today’s Mark Mayer

Larry Fitzgerald said he has no concern about the possible NFL lockout nor the end of his contract with Arizona next year.

“The meetings I feel will go fine between the players union and management,” said Fitzgerald, who the Steelers would love to see come back to Pittsburgh where he starred collegiately. “I just want to put on a good show for the Arizona fans. I love playing there.”

Adrian Peterson, considered 1-2 with Tennessee’s Chris Johnson as the top running backs in the NFL, said he was inspired with the comparison talk over who was better.

“Hearing all that does inspire you,” Peterson said. “I’m a modest, humble guy, but I did think about it during the season for sure.”

Peterson is back to being the leader of the Vikings with Brett Favre apparently out of the picture.

“It was quite a ride this season with Brett (Favre) but it was not a distraction at all,” Peterson said. “You never know with Brett, but I think you can say the Favre stuff about coming back is behind us. I would say he’s out for good.”
