Auburn -2½ vs. Oregon (74½): U of Phoenix Stadium

RICHARD SABER

I know we will all be involved in this 5:20 p.m. PT game for the BCS title. After I watched the Crimson Tide dismantle 11-1 Michigan State 49-7, I was sold.

One of the greatest comebacks I have seen was when Auburn came back from 21 down in Tuscaloosa to beat the Tide 28-27. I am a believer, taking nothing away from a great Oregon team that just may have played a little softer schedule. AUBURN.

MICAH ROBERTS

I’m kind of torn between the two. I fully expect to see lots of points scored eclipsing the posted total of 74½. The two teams have combined for 92.3 points-per-game and neither of the defenses is tough to score on.

On one side, you have Auburn’s huge offensive and defensive lines against the smaller Ducks, but the speed of Oregon will be something Auburn hasn’t seen all year. AUBURN, 44-39.

SID DIAMOND

I made this total 75 and so did they. I might just bet a half and thoroughly enjoy Heisman winner Cam Newton’s performance as well as the fastest team on earth’s stunning speed from Oregon. The number hasn’t moved much, but I still believe it will go up from Auburn -1. FIRST HALF/OVER.
