Rose, James highlight All-NBA First Team by The Sports Network

New York, NY (Sports Network) – Chicago’s Derrick Rose, the 2010-11 NBA Most Valuable Player, was selected to the All-NBA First Team for the first time and joins four others that have been honored in years past.

Miami’s LeBron James, Kobe Bryant of the Lakers, Orlando’s Dwight Howard and Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant were all chosen for the First Team for the second straight year.

James, the lone unanimous choice, earned First-Team honors for the fourth straight year and fifth time overall, while Bryant is a member of the First Team for the sixth straight season and ninth time in his career. Howard was voted to the First Team for the fourth consecutive year and Durant for a second time.

The Second Team consists of Miami’s Dwyane Wade, the Thunder’s Russell Westbrook, the Lakers’ Pau Gasol, Dallas’ Dirk Nowitzki and New York’s Amare Stoudemire.

Manu Ginobili of San Antonio and New Orleans’ Chris Paul headline the Third Team, which also features Memphis’ Zach Randolph, Portland’s LaMarcus Aldridge and Atlanta’s Al Horford.
